Virtual Assistant and Outsourcing Services

The program in brief

The program is still being developed, and is intended as a pro-bono service to students and graduates of our courses and support contract clients. You must fit one of these categories to join this program.
We match clients with talented graphic designers, WordPress developers, and social media consultants from the US and overseas.
We recruit, train, qualify or supervise WordPress virtual assistants from $6/hr, PHP developers from $12/hr, and US-based graphic artists and webmasters from $27.50/hr.
For offshore outsourcing, we markup contractor rates only 20-30%, and provide basic project management, billing and paycheck services.
For onshore, we are currently only providing referrals — negotiate fees and payment directly with the provider.

How it works

For off-shore work you must be a current student or LMS Member, and Premium Support subscriber.
For on-shore work, contact the provider directly using contact information below.
For offshore, open a support ticket and make a request for the work you want done, and the type of contractor you want (see below). Please be as detailed as possible.
We will assign the best developer for your job from our active workers. He/she will either begin working immediately on your project, or they will need consult with you. You can communicate with your developer through your project message board (easy) or via Skype (more difficult). You can also communicate with our project manager Don via Skype or telephone during EST business hours (see contact info at bottom of this page).
All billable work on your site is logged via desktop timers with a 1-minute increment. You can check your current project status and billables at any time through your project dashboard.
Your contractor hours will be charged automatically to your credit card on file at the beginning of each week.

What kind of tasks can I outsource?

We are offering 3 levels of service:

Level 1: Mid-skill off-shore WordPress virtual assistants (Philippines) - from $6/hr
Good for: Theme changes; setting up backup procedure; formatting documents; administrative procedures; posting content; aligning images on your blog; telephone calls, email inquiries; data entry; spreadsheet setup, etc.
Level 2: High-skill off-shore graphic designers, web developers and programmers (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) – from $8/hr
Good for: website development, website design, formatting / styling changes to your website, e-commerce integration, newsletter integration, etc.
Level 3: High-skill on-shore web designers and developers - (Provider sets pricing)
Good for: “Website done for you” (soup-to-nuts)
